An Hilton Grand Vacations Club (HGVC) membership is based on a points system, called ClubPoints. When you buy an HGVC timeshare, you purchase rights to a specific Home Resort to use each year. You are also given an allotment of ClubPoints to use on your annual vacation. These points are redeemable for booking at any HGVC resort, exchanging for another Hilton resort, or receiving bonus rewards given by Hilton. If you find yourself with extra points, you have the option to convert them into HHonors points, which is a Hilton rewards program that allows owners to use their points on things such as airfare and dining.
